- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- self-rising flour - 3 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- box brown sugar - 1 item
- sticks butter - 3 item
- Glaze:1 stick butter
How to make brown sugar pound cake:
Glaze:1 stick butter2 c. sugar1/2 c. milk2 c. powdered sugar Cream butter, sugars and eggs until a creamy mixture occurs. Add flour and milk alternately, while mixing. Add vanilla. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until done in a greased and floured tube pan.Glaze: In a medium saucepan, combine butter and sugar. Let come to hard boil and boil 1 minute. Stir in milk. Cook 2 minutes. Let cool. Stir in powdered sugar until well blended. Pour over cooled cake.
