- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
How to make brown sugar icebox cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix in flour, soda and salt. Add nuts. Divide dough in half. On a sheet of wax paper, form into rectangle approximately 12 to 14-inches long. Wrap in paper and store in refrigerator or freezer until firm. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, < 30 mins.
