Brown sugar fudge
Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar
- dark brown sugar - 1 lb
- 12 oz - 1 c
- chopped walnuts or pecans - 2 c
- jar Marshmallow Creme - 1 oz
- 2 sticks butter - 1 c
How to make brown sugar fudge:
In a heavy 4-quart saucepan, melt butter. Add sugars and milk. Cook over medium heat. Bring to a boil; stir occasionally. Cook for 15 minutes after boiling begins, stirring constantly.Put Marshmallow Creme in a mixing bowl. Slowly add cooked mixture and begin to beat. Continue beating 5 minutes, until creamy and well blended. Add nuts. Pour into a well-buttered 15 x 11 x 1-inch pan. Let set until completely cooled. Cut into squares.
