Brown gravy
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- can condensed beef broth undiluted - 1 1/2
How to make brown gravy:
In medium saucepan, stir flour into hot butter until smooth. Cook, stirring over low heat, to brown flour slightly. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in broth. Bring to boiling, stirring. Reduce heat; simmer 1 to 2 minutes, until thickened. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
