Brown gravy
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- sliced onion - 1/2 item
- brown stock - 1 c
How to make brown gravy:
In a frying pan, cook onion in butter until lightly browned. Remove onion and discard. Continue cooking, stirring constantly until butter is browned. In a bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Add to butter. Cook until flour is browned. Slowly add stock, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes.
