Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar
- almond extract
- hot water - 3 Tbsp
- oleo
- almond halves, blanched - 1 item
How to make brown-eyed susans:
Frosting:1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar3 Tbsp. cocoa3 Tbsp. hot water1 tsp. vanilla almond halves, blanched Cream oleo. Add sugar, extract and flour. Roll level tablespoons of this into balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and flatten slightly with fork. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.Mix frosting ingredients as given. Drop just a little on each cookie for effect.
