- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- stick soft butter - 1 item
- frozen pie shell deep - 1 item
- Filling:4 apples, peeled and sliced
How to make brown bag apple pie:
Filling:4 apples, peeled and sliced1/2 c. sugar2 tsp. flour1/2 tsp. cinnamon2 tsp. lemon juice Crumb Topping:1/2 c. flour1/2 c. sugar1 stick soft butter Mix together flour, sugar and cinnamon. Roll apples in mixture. Place in unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle lemon juice on top.For Topping: Mix flour, sugar and soft butter with potato masher or fork until crumbly. Pour on top of mixture. Place in brown paper sack and roll up edges. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until browned.
