Ingredients/Components
- medium tomatoes - 3 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- dried oregano or basil, crushed - 1/4 tsp
- low calorie Italian or French dressing - 2 Tbsp
How to make broiled tomatoes:
Core tomatoes and cut in half crosswise. Make shallow crisscross cut on surface of tomatoes. Season cut surface with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with oregano or basil. Drizzle with salad dressing. Broil cut side up 3-inches from heat, about 5 minutes or until heated through. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Low protein, Vegetables, Tomato.
