Broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- low sodium chicken broth - 1 c
- nonfat milk - 2 c
- diced celery - 1/4 c
- grated Swiss cheese - 1/4 c
- chopped broccoli
- dash of ground thyme - 1 item
How to make broccoli soup:
Place vegetables and broth in saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and cook until vegetables are tender, about 8 minutes. Mix milk, cornstarch, salt, pepper and thyme; add to cooked vegetables. Cook, stirring constantly, until soup is slightly thick and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat.
