Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 5 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 2/3 c
- instant chicken bouillon - 2 Tbsp
How to make broccoli soup:
Cook broccoli as package directs, only until thawed. Put in blender until finely chopped. Saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour until smooth. Add milk in gradual amounts, stirring constantly until thick and smooth. Add seasonings and bouillon. Add broccoli; simmer. Makes 8 cups.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Broccoli.
