Broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- water - 6 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- chicken bouillon granules - 3 tsp
- flour all-purpose - 1/3 c
- American cheese, cut up - 8 oz
How to make broccoli soup:
In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, saute onion in butter for 5 minutes or until onion is almost tender. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in flour until completely blended. Add water, bouillon granules, garlic powder and pepper and stir. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Add broccoli and milk. Simmer for 10 minutes or until broccoli is done.
