Broccoli rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- 2 oz - 1/2 c
- ground black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- hot pepper sauce - 1/8 tsp
- cooked rice - 3 c
- 10 oz - 1 pkg
- condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 can
- pasteurized process cheese spread - 4 oz
How to make broccoli rice casserole:
In large skillet, cook onions and celery in butter until tender-crisp. Add remaining ingredients except grated cheese. Spoon into buttered 1 1/2 to 2-quart baking dish. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Top with grated cheese. Bake 3 minutes longer, or until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Long Grain rice.
