- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- jar processed cheese spread - 1 oz
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 3/4
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- cooked rice - 3 c
How to make broccoli rice casserole:
In a large skillet over medium heat, saute onion, celery and broccoli in butter for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in cheese, soup and milk until smooth. Place rice in a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Pour cheese mixture over; do not stir. Bake, uncovered, in a 325° oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Reheats well. Yields 8 to 10 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Long Grain rice.
