Broccoli-rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 3/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- raw rice
- jar Cheez Whiz - 1 oz
How to make broccoli-rice casserole:
Cook rice. Saute onion, green pepper and celery in butter. Cook broccoli and drain. Combine with Cheez Whiz, vegetables, undiluted soup and mushrooms. Fold in cooked rice and put into 3-quart buttered casserole. Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly (about 20 to 30 minutes).
