Broccoli quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 oz
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- dehydrated onion flakes - 2 Tbsp
- chopped broccoli - 2 c
- slices bread in crumbs - 2 item
How to make broccoli quiche:
Combine bread crumbs (reserve 1/4 cup crumbs) with water, mix to a paste and press into bottom of a pie plate or quiche dish. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes to make crust; cool.In small saucepan, cook broccoli according to package directions; drain, squeeze dry and add onion flakes, salt, pepper, nutmeg and reserved crumbs. Remove from heat. Beat eggs and milk together. Add broccoli mixture. Stir in margarine; mix well. Transfer to pie shell. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake at 400° for 35 to 40 minutes.
