Broccoli chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 qt
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 4
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- potatoes - 3 item
- carrots, sliced - 2 item
- celery - 3/4 c
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- broccoli can use asparagus or cauliflower instead - 1 lb
How to make broccoli chowder:
Chop vegetables and add to 1 can of chicken broth (2 to 3 cups). May use bouillon. Cook 20 to 30 minutes. Add 1 quart of milk and bring to a boil. Thicken with 2 to 4 tablespoons of cornstarch.
