Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1 c
- ground red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- dried minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- chopped peanuts optional - 1/4 c
How to make broccoli chowder:
In a medium saucepan, bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Add broccoli and onion. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender; do not drain. Stir in soup, milk, cheese and red pepper. Cook and stir about 4 minutes or until heated through. Pass peanuts to sprinkle on top of soup, if desired.
