Broccoli cheese soup



  • pkg - 20 oz
  • milk - 2 c
  • flour - 5 Tbsp
  • melted margarine - 1/4 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • American cheese - 12 oz
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • carrot, grated - 1 item

How to make broccoli cheese soup:

In saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients. Cook until smooth on low to medium heat. Cook broccoli as directed on package, along with grated carrot. Combine milk mixture and broccoli. Stir in cheese until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Note: To thicken, use flour and water. To thin, use chicken broth or water and margarine.
