Broccoli cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
- Velveeta, cubed - 8 oz
- cooked chicken, chopped - 2 c
- medium carrot, grated - 1 item
- minced onion flake - 1 Tbsp
How to make broccoli cheese soup:
Heat water and bouillon cube to a boil. Add the broccoli and carrot. Cook according to the broccoli package directions; then remove from heat. Do not drain. In a separate pan, melt the butter and slowly stir in the flour. Continue stirring while gradually adding the milk. Stir in the cheese, onion flakes, Worcestershire sauce, and soup. Add salt and pepper to taste.
