Broccoli cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- broccoli, finely chopped can use frozen - 2 c
- can diced tomatoes with juice - 1 item
- small can green chilies - 1/2 item
- Velveeta light, cubed - 6 oz
How to make broccoli cheese soup:
Cook broccoli until tender; drain. Add broth, garlic, tomatoes and chilies. Bring to a simmer. Lower temperature and add Velveeta. This makes approximately 6 cups of soup at 1 pint per cup.Optional: Can freeze servings of soup in individual portions for quick easy meal.
