Broccoli cheese soup



  • cans chicken broth - 2 item
  • garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • broccoli, finely chopped can use frozen - 2 c
  • can diced tomatoes with juice - 1 item
  • small can green chilies - 1/2 item
  • Velveeta light, cubed - 6 oz

How to make broccoli cheese soup:

Cook broccoli until tender; drain. Add broth, garlic, tomatoes and chilies. Bring to a simmer. Lower temperature and add Velveeta. This makes approximately 6 cups of soup at 1 pint per cup.

Optional: Can freeze servings of soup in individual portions for quick easy meal.
