Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1 c
  • chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
  • pkg - 10 oz
  • medium carrot, grated - 1 item
  • butter - 2 3
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • American cheese - 1 lb
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • minced onion - 1 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1 item

How to make broccoli-cheese soup:

Heat water and bouillon cube to boiling. Add broccoli and carrots. Cook 5 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat and do not drain.

In separate saucepan, melt butter and slowly stir in flour. Gradually add milk. Cook until thick. Stir in cheese, soup, onion, sauce and pepper. Add to broccoli mixture, heat and serve.
