Broccoli casserole



  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • grated cheese - 1 c
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • cooked rice - 2 c
  • half and half cream - 1/2 c
  • frozen chopped broccoli - 1 pkg

How to make broccoli casserole:

Cook broccoli until tender. Drain and set aside. Cook rice; drain. Saute celery and onion in butter until tender and add to the drained broccoli. Mix the 2 cans of soup and half and half cream with rice and 1/2 of the cheese. Place in greased casserole and sprinkle remainder of cheese over the top. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
