Broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- dark brown sugar - 3/4 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese - 3/4 lb
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- Ritz crackers
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- head broccoli - 1 item
- yellow mustard - 1 Tbsp
- Minute rice, cooked - 1 c
- large, chopped onions - 2 item
- navy beans or small white beans - 1 lb
- sliced, lean salt pork or ham bone - 5 oz
How to make broccoli casserole:
Rinse beans in colander and pick over. Put beans in a large Dutch oven and cover with water. Let soak at least 1 hour, adding water if needed to keep covered.
