Broccoli casserole



  • frozen, chopped broccoli - 3 pkg
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • bunch green onions, chopped including tops - 1/2 item
  • celery, finely chopped - 1/2 c
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • roll garlic cheese, cut up or 2 4 oz - 1 (8
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • can mushroom pieces - 1 oz

How to make broccoli casserole:

Cook broccoli according to directions. Drain. Melt butter, saute onions and celery until tender. Add flour and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add cheese and stir until melted. Blend in soup. Add broccoli and mushrooms. Bake in greased casserole, covered, at 350° for about 30 minutes or freeze and bake at 375° for about 1 hour. Serves 8 to 10. This can also be used as a dip.
