Broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 c
- small can evaporated milk - 1 item
- frozen chopped broccoli - 1 pkg
- can cream of chicken soup undiluted - 1 item
- uncooked Minute rice - 1 c
- celery, cut in small pieces - 1 c
- small jar Cheez Whiz or Cheddar cheese soup - 1 item
How to make broccoli casserole:
Saute broccoli, onion and celery in the margarine for 15 minutes. Cook rice as directed on box. Add soup, milk and cheese to broccoli mixture and add the cooked rice to mixture, also. Put into a greased dish, approximately 10 x 10-inch. Bake at 350° about 30 minutes. Can make ahead and freeze, then bake when ready to serve.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Broccoli.
