- large eggs, divided - 7 item
- whipping cream, divided - 3 c
- fat-free milk - 2 c
- ground hot pork sausage - 1 lb
- round Brie - 1 (8
- chopped fresh or dried sage - 1 Tbsp
How to make brie and sausage breakfast casserole:
Trim rind from Brie; cut into cubes. Set aside. Cook sausage, stirring until crumbled and no longer pink. Cut crust from bread and place evenly in 13 x 9 lightly greased baking dish. Layer evenly with bread slices, sausage, Brie and grated cheese. Whisk together 5 eggs, 2 cups whipping cream and next four ingredients; pour evenly over cheeses. Cover and chill 8 hours. Whisk remaining 2 eggs and 1 cup whipping cream; pour over chilled mixture. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until set. Servings: 1.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, Pork sausage.
