Breakfast souffle
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- eggs, well beaten - 6 item
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- dash of paprika - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- slices white bread - 8 item
- mild Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 lb
How to make breakfast souffle:
Butter both sides of bread. Cut off crust and cut into cubes. Put layer of bread cubes into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with grated cheese. Beat eggs and add milk, paprika, mustard and salt. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 325° until puffy and slightly brown.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Breakfast, Oven.
