Breakfast sausage casserole
Ingredients/Components
- uncooked rice not Minute rice - 1 c
- medium onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- bell pepper, chopped fine - 1/2 c
- grated carrots - 2 c
- celery, chopped fine - 1 c
- cubes chicken bouillon, fixed according to directions - 2 item
- water - 1/4 c
- sausage turkey or low-fat - 1 lb
How to make breakfast sausage casserole:
Mix first seven ingredients together. Put into well-greased casserole dish. Cover and bake for approximately 1 hour in 350° oven. After baking 30 minutes, stir and then return to oven and bake 30 minutes more. Brown the sausage, drain and place on top. Serve immediately.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
