Breakfast quiche
Ingredients/Components
- slices bacon, cooked - 14 item
- onion, chopped - 1/4 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1/4 c
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- Swiss cheese, grated - 3/4 c
- can mushrooms - 4 oz
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 2 c
- plus 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- pastry shells - 2 (9
How to make breakfast quiche:
Crumble 10 pieces bacon. Set aside. Saute onion and green pepper in butter. Alternate a layer of the cheese, bacon, onion and pepper mixture, and mushrooms on each pastry shell. In a small bowl blend together lightly beaten eggs, milk, flour, salt, Worcestershire sauce and basil. Pour half the mixture over each pie. Bake at 375° for 35-40 minutes.
