Breakfast pizza
Ingredients/Components
- bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
- 8 refrigerated crescent dinner rolls - 1 pkg
- or more to taste frozen loose-pack hash brown potatoes - 1 c
- to 6 eggs - 5 item
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
How to make breakfast pizza:
Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles and place in an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan OR roll out in an oblong jelly roll pan or Pyrex dish. Press over bottom and up sides to form a crust and seal perforations. Brown sausage; drain fat and spoon over crust. Sprinkle with potatoes. In a bowl, mix together eggs, milk, salt and pepper and pour over potatoes. Top with Cheddar cheese. Bake in 300° to 325° oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Watch the crust to make sure it doesn't brown too quickly! Cut in squares.Note: To double recipe, use a 10 x 15 size pan.
