Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- slices bread - 4 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Cut bread slices in half and arrange in bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Brown and drain sausage. Spoon sausage over bread. Sprinkle with cheese. In a mixing bowl beat eggs with milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over sausage. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
