Breakfast casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- slices bread - 12 item
- shredded Swiss cheese - 8 oz
- sausage - 2 lb
- half and half cream or whole milk - 1 qt
How to make breakfast casserole:
Put 6 slices of bread on bottom of extra large casserole dish. Brown sausage and drain. Spread 1/2 of sausage on bread. Spread 1/2 of cheese over sausage. Layer again. Beat eggs; add milk and salt. Pour over mix. Cook, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350°. Can be prepared the night before, put in refrigerator and cooked the next morning.
