Ingredients/Components
- milk
- beaten eggs - 6 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- bulk sausage
- medium Cheddar cheese - 6 8
- bread croutons crust trimmings from 1 to 2 loaves of bread
How to make breakfast casserole:
Break trimmings (bread croutons) into small pieces. Toast and butter in oven. Spread in 9 to 12-inch casserole dish. Brown and drain sausage. Sprinkle over croutons. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over sausage. Mix eggs, milk and salt and pepper to taste. Pour mixture over casserole. Refrigerate overnight. Bake in 375° oven for 30 minutes.
