Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- slices bread, cubed - 6 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1/4 lb
- sausage - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Lightly butter a 2-quart casserole dish. Cover bottom with bread cubes. Brown sausage in a skillet, breaking up meat with a fork while browning. Drain and spread over bread cubes. Put milk, salt, mustard and eggs in a bowl. Mix well. Pour over sausage and top with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Serves 6.
