Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 item
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- slices bread, cubed - 4 item
- pepper - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- sausage - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Brown sausage and crumble. Set aside after draining on paper towel. Beat eggs. Add milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Layer bread crumbs, sausage and cheese in a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish. Cover with egg mixture and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes until set and lightly browned.
