Ingredients/Components
- slices bread, cut edges off, butter and cube - 2 item
- grated sharp cheese - 1 c
- hot sausage or ham - 1 lb
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
How to make breakfast casserole:
Cook sausage; drain grease. Use a 9 x 13-inch pan. Put bread in pan. Top with cheese and sausage. Beat eggs with remaining ingredients and pour over other ingredients already in pan. Leave overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, uncovered. A great way to use leftover ham.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
