Ingredients/Components
- slices bread, broken up - 4 item
- cheese, grated - 1 c
- plus 1 tsp - 1 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- sausage, cooked and drained - 1 lb
- eggs, beaten - 8 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make breakfast casserole:
Mix milk, cheese, eggs, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over bread and sausage in 9 x 13-inch pan. Let sit 15 to 30 minutes. (Best if made the day before and refrigerated.) Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
