Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- slices bread - 3 item
- raisins if desired - 1 item
How to make bread pudding:
Lightly grease casserole. Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar. Slowly add milk and vanilla. Pour into casserole dish. Butter both sides of bread and break into pieces. Place on top of mixture in casserole and sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon. Bake 1 hour at 350° in a shallow pan of water.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, American.
