Bread pudding



  • sugar
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 4 c
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • can condensed milk - 1 item
  • loaf fresh French bread - 1 item

How to make bread pudding:

You will need 1 large deep baking pan.

Break up French bread in small pieces. Place milk in large bowl with bread, 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons vanilla and 6 eggs. Soak for 1/2 to 1 hour. Melt one stick of butter in saucepan. Add condensed milk, add 1/2 cup sugar and put aside. Melt other stick of butter in baking pan in oven on low temperature. Pour bread mixture into baking pan and pour condensed milk mixture over the bread. Bake at 350° for about an hour or until golden brown.
