Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- raisins - 1/2 c
- cream - 1 c
- butter, melted - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 2 c
How to make bread pudding:
Soak bread crumbs in milk and cream for 1/2 hour. Add sugar and eggs. Soak raisins in hot water. Add to mixture and add the vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Pour in greased dish; pour melted butter over top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, American.
