Bread pudding

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 2 Tbsp
• milk - 1 qt
• eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
• raisins or dates optional - 1/2 c
• bread cubes to cover 9 x 12-inch pan 1 1/2 inches thick
• Pour over this the remaining ingredients; sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top

How to make bread pudding:

Cover the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch pan with bread cubes, possibly two layers. Pour over this the remaining ingredients; sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350° or until set.Topping:1/4 lb. butter1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp
