Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/3 c
- French bread makes the best - 8 slices
- vanilla or other flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make bread pudding:
Grease 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole. Pour beaten eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla into casserole and mix. Add bread; allow to soak 10 to 15 minutes, then stir well, breaking up bread. Add melted butter and stir. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until center is done.
