- celery seed
- mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
- green peppers - 2 item
- turmeric
- plain salt - 1/2 c
- mild cider vinegar
- medium cucumbers 4 qt - 1 gal
- to 12 large onions - 6 item
How to make bread and butter pickles:
Syrup:5 c. mild cider vinegar5 c. white sugar2 Tbsp. mustard seed1/2 tsp. ground cloves1 1/2 tsp. turmeric1 1/2 tsp. celery seed Wash cucumbers; dry and cut cucumbers. Slice onions as thin as possible. Cut peppers into narrow strips. Place vRecipe categories: American, Condiments, etc., Vegetables.
