Bread and butter pickles

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• salt
• vinegar - 1 c
• dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
• celery seed - 1/2 tsp
• onion, sliced - 1 item
• turmeric - 1 tsp
• sliced cucumbers - 1 qt

How to make bread and butter pickles:

Mix and bring to a boil all ingredients except cucumbers; then add cucumbers. Boil for 5 minutes. Keep stirring until cucumbers change color. Then pack into jars and seal.
