Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- large white onion - 1 item
- white vinegar - 1 c
- mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- sliced cucumbers - 1 qt
How to make bread and butter pickles:
Mix seasoning and bring to boil. Add onion and cukes and boil 5 minutes. Put in jars and seal. Seal in 2 pints or 1 quart.Recipe categories: American, Condiments, etc., Vegetables.
