Brazilian rice
Ingredients/Components
- water - 2 c
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- rice - 1 c
- chopped garlic - 1 tsp
How to make brazilian rice:
Saute onion in 2 tablespoons olive oil, then add garlic. When onion and garlic are transparent, add rice and water. When rice and water come to a boil, add salt. Cover and lower temperature to low heat and simmer until no water is in bottom of pan, approximately 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Brazilian, Side dish, South american.
