Brazilian rice
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- beaten eggs - 4 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 3/4 lb
- boiled rice - 3 c
- frozen chopped spinach, cooked and very well drained - 1 pkg
- each: marjoram, thyme and rosemary - 1/2 tsp
How to make brazilian rice:
Mix sauce; stir in rice. Pour into 2-quart baking dish. Bake in a pan of water in a 350° oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 8.Note: Recipe is from 1968 Hospital Auxiliary.
