Bran muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking soda - 5 tsp
- plain flour - 5 c
- salad oil - 1 c
- 40% bran flakes approximately 1 box - 9 c
How to make bran muffins:
Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs and liquids. Add nuts and mix well. Store in the refrigerator in tightly covered container. Will keep up to 6 weeks. Bake as needed at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Yields 60 muffins.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
