Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- flour - 5 c
- water - 2 c
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- baking soda - 5 tsp
- bran flakes - 2 c
- All-Bran - 4 c
How to make bran muffins:
Boil water. Add baking soda; mix and cool. Cream butter, sugar and eggs together. Add alternately the flour and buttermilk. Add water; mix. Blend in brans. Stir. Bake as needed at 375° for 1/2 hour. Makes 6 dozen. Keeps well in refrigerator 4 to 6 weeks.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
