Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/4 c
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- 100% Bran cereal
How to make bran muffins:
Preheat oven to 400°. Combine first 5 ingredients; set aside. Mix bran with milk until bran is moistened. Let stand 5 minutes. Add egg and oil, beating until blended. Add flour mixture, stirring until combined. Do not over mix. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake 20 minutes. Yields 12.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
